13 September 2011 : Radio Erabaru dirampas alat siarnya oleh Tim Gabungan yang terdiri dari Balmon, Dirjen Postel, PPNS Polda Kepri, KPID Kepri. Sejak itu Radio Erabaru terhenti siarannya. Frekuensi 106.5 Mhz langsung diisi oleh Radio Sing FM.

The Chronology (2005 – 2011)
March 1, 2005
The Radio Erabaru FM station that runs by PT. Radio Suara Harapan Semesta began to broadcast. In 2004 Radio Erabaru FM obtained the Certificate of Eligibility Recommendations from Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) Riau Islands Province to broadcast on frequency 106.5 MHz. Now is in the process to get The Broadcasting License (IPP).
The market target of Radio Erabaru FM is the Chinese community around the station. The broadcasting material is in public format such as music, entertainment, news, cultural, commercial, etc. Radio Erabaru FM broadcast in both bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin. Radio Erabaru FM covers the area of Batam, Bintan, Karimun, Singapore and Johor (Malaysia).
The program also covers news about human rights abuses that occurred in China, such as murder and harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners' organs, the unrest in Tibet, Uyghur Muslims persecution, persecution of journalists, and etc.

News posted on the website of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) on the objection of the Chinese Embassy in Jakarta for the existence of Radio Erabaru FM. They requested the KPI to closely monitoring Radio Erabaru FM since Radio Erabaru FM as assessed broadcast political propaganda that discredits the China Communist Party (CCP). They also accused Radio Erabaru FM financed by Falun Gong. The management of Radio Erabaru FM obtain a copy of a letter that addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia (Departemen Luar Negeri Indonesia), Ministry of Domestic Affairs of Indonesia (Departemen Dalam Negeri Indonesia), Indonesian State Intelligence Agency (Badan Intelijen Negara, BIN), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Indonesia (Departemen Komunikasi dan Informatika Indonesia, Depkominfo) and the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI). The letter asked the Indonesian government to close down Radio Erabaru FM station.
